Blowtrumpet · South Delhi · Full-time / Intern / Early Career
ABOUT BLOWTRUMPET
Blowtrumpet is the corporate backbone of an emerging ad-tech ecosystem currently in closed testing. We are building a full-stack advertising platform — from demand-side to supply-side — reimagining how advertisers and publishers connect in the attention economy. Based in South Delhi, Blowtrumpet houses all central functions including strategy, design, HR, finance, communications, and platform engineering.
THE ROLE
Support WordPress development across Blowtrumpet’s web properties — building pages, customising themes, fixing bugs, and learning production-grade WordPress engineering.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and maintain pages using the custom theme and Gutenberg editor
- Implement responsive designs from Figma mockups
- Fix front-end bugs, cross-browser issues, and accessibility gaps
- Write and maintain CSS/SCSS for theme components
- Assist with content migration, SEO tagging, and image optimisation
- Learn and follow the team’s coding standards and Git workflow
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with WordPress — themes, plugins, dashboard navigation
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Eagerness to learn production development practices
- Portfolio or personal projects demonstrating web development skills
EARLY CAREER & CAMPUS TALENT
We are actively inviting early-career graduates and final-year interns to consider long-term opportunities in innovation and establish stable careers with us in one of the most promising industry segments. If you are looking to create a ding in the universe, this may be your chance. Blowtrumpet is not just offering a job — we are offering a seat at the table where the future of advertising technology is being designed. You will work with small, focused teams, learn from practitioners, ship real products, and grow into a career that compounds.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Along with your application, please include a Statement of Purpose that covers:
- What interests you in advertising and technology — what drew you to this space?
- When you started programming, designing, exploring this opportunity, or engaging with the field — and what you have built or learned so far.
- Your 3–5 year career vision — where do you see yourself, what kind of work excites you, and what impact do you want to make?
- How Blowtrumpet or this project fits into that picture — why us, why now, and what you hope to bring.
WORKING AT BLOWTRUMPET
We function like a startup — and we are proud of it. That means you will wear multiple hats, take ownership beyond your title, and grow faster than you would in a larger organisation. We are looking for people who thrive on that kind of pace.
A few things to know upfront:
- Multi-functional by design. Everyone here contributes across boundaries. If you see a gap, you fill it. If you can learn it, you own it.
- Excellence is non-negotiable. We have no room for mediocrity. We would rather ship fewer things brilliantly than many things passably.
- Growth-oriented. We invest in training, mentorship, and giving you real responsibility early. Your growth is the company’s growth.
- Early starts, disciplined days. We are based in South Delhi and our working day begins at 8 AM. We believe discipline creates freedom — starting early lets us work with focus, finish with intention, and keep stress low.
- Low stress, high standards. We keep the environment calm and supportive. People here help each other, cover for each other, and win together. The pressure comes from the pursuit of great work, not from mismanagement.
