Privacy Policy

September 30, 2026
Rev. 1

Blowtrumpet Technologies is the data fiduciary for all personal data described in this policy. This policy covers the Blowtrumpet corporate website and all products and services operated by Blowtrumpet Technologies, including Ravaki, Tejaki, Vedoki, State of Ads and The Edit. Where a product carries its own privacy policy, that product policy applies to the product-specific data it describes; this policy applies to everything else and to the corporate site itself.

Our position, stated precisely

Blowtrumpet processes no viewer personal data. Not minimised, not anonymised — not collected. Because advertising creative is composited locally before broadcast, there is no ad call, and therefore no tag, pixel, SDK, cookie, device identifier or viewer-side request of any kind. Targeting is contextual by counterparty: whose audience, never which individuals. A viewer is never a data subject of Blowtrumpet.

We state that claim exactly, and we do not overstate it. We do hold personal data about the people and businesses we work with — advertisers, creators, partners, job applicants, contributors, research collaborators and visitors to our websites.

1. What we collect

Account and contact data — name, email address, phone number, company name, role, and the credentials you use to sign in to any Blowtrumpet product or service.

Billing and financial data — billing address, GSTIN, PAN where required for tax, bank account details for creator payments, invoice history and payment references. Full card numbers are handled by our payment service providers; we do not store them.

Campaign and transaction data — campaign configuration, creative assets, targeting parameters, spend, delivery, performance records, and transaction history across Ravaki and Tejaki.

Creator data — channel information, content metadata, verification documents, earnings history and payment records, collected through Tejaki.

Applicant data — name, contact details, CV, statement of purpose, portfolio links and interview records, collected through our careers process.

Research and contributor data — name, affiliation, area of interest, submissions and correspondence, collected through State of Ads and the Contribute sections of our websites.

Technical and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, referring URLs and timestamps, collected when you visit any of our websites.

Communications — enquiries, support requests, feedback and correspondence with us across any channel.

2. How we use it

To provide, operate and improve our products and services; to deliver, verify and report on advertising campaigns; to process creator payments and manage earnings; to invoice clients and meet our tax and regulatory obligations; to evaluate job applications; to manage research collaborations and contributor relationships; to provide support; to detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and, with your consent, to send you relevant updates about our products and programmes.

We do not use one client’s campaign data to inform another client’s pricing, targeting or strategy. We do not use applicant data for any purpose other than evaluating the application and, where the applicant consents, keeping it on file for future openings.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers acting under written contract and under our instruction — hosting, payment processing, analytics, communications and professional advisors — and with legal or regulatory authorities where the law requires. Service providers may not use Blowtrumpet data for their own purposes.

Where a creator or advertiser relationship involves a partner, affiliate or agency, we share only the data necessary for that relationship to function, and only under the terms of the relevant agreement.

4. Client and product separation

No client’s data — raw or derived — is exposed to any other client. This is an architectural property of the platform, not an access-control policy that someone could reconfigure. Data collected through one product is not used by another product except where operationally necessary and disclosed.

5. Storage, security and retention

Data is held on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls on a need-to-know basis. We keep personal data only as long as necessary for operational, contractual and legal purposes — including statutory retention of tax, accounting and employment records. Applicant data is retained for the period stated in our careers process, after which it is deleted unless you ask us to keep it on file.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable law, you may access, correct or update your data; request erasure; ask for a summary of the processing we carry out; nominate another person to exercise your rights; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; and complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Where GDPR or CCPA applies to you, the corresponding rights apply.

Write to privacy@blowtrumpet.com.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and website function; analytics cookies to understand usage; and marketing cookies only with your consent. This applies across all Blowtrumpet websites. Manage your preferences in the cookie banner or your browser settings.

8. Children

Our products and services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we find that we have, we delete it.

9. Cross-border transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside India, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. Changes

We will post revisions here with a new effective date, and notify registered users and active applicants directly of significant changes.
