The Grand Finale with SAM Workshops
The India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2012 is one of the most premier events for the business community and held between the 14th and 27th of November at the Pragati Maidan, New Delhi every year.
With more than 7,500 national and 350 international exhibition companies from 22 countries participating, it is one of the most prestigious venues for trade in the country that lot of people look forward to. The 32nd edition of the India International Trade Fair in 2012, had Skilling India as its theme, and focussed on works undertaken by the NSDC. About 2 million visitors from all across India and the world visited the fair in 2012.
What could be a better way to bring the trade fair to a Grand Finale, than having a youth engagement event with SAM Workshops on the theme of Skilling India to give out a message for national development?
The Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) along with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) collaborated with Blow Trumpet Solutions to have SAM Workshops as the event partner to conduct the unique youth engagement workshop at the IITF 2012.
SAM Workshops was carefully chosen to be the event partner, and invited to conduct the engagement workshop based on SAM’s unique format, and providing an answer for industry’s youth engagement requirements.
SAM Workshops, a youth transformation drive, has been selflessly for over 3 years to motivate youth in the right direction, to become independent and dedicated for the cause of social development at every level. Having done more than 150 Workshops across the country in various cities, SAM has successfully engaged with millions of youth, delivering a message of peace, selflessness and serving causes that one-can-die-for. SAM Workshops has been working for awakening youth, and has collaborated with industrial and retail houses, education providers while conducting enthralling motivational seminars on various themes.
The program flow was carefully planned to have industry leaders from various sectors such as infrastructure & training, healthcare and skills education speak to a youth audience and present their message towards the cause of personal development. For the SAM Workshops team, organizing an event in the environment of the IITF was an unprecedented and mammoth task. This is where Blow Trumpet came in, offering their services and collaboration, and teams from SAM, Blow Trumpet, FICCI and ITPO joined hands and became one for addressing this cause.
The venue, Hamsadhwani Theatre, the largest open air amphitheater in the Pragati Maidan was carefully chosen, and all technical requirements and infrastructure were carefully planned to make sure the minutest details were taken care of. For the teams, it meant, multiple visits to the event site, during the course of the trade fair, and considering many nuances around stage development, audience seating, entry and exit gates, security and management apart from exceptional technicals for lighting and sound. Last but not least, arranging for all infrastructure that the team would need for seamless delivery, while looking after decorum and quality of delivery.
Blow Trumpet Solutions is happy and proud to be associated with SAM Workshops, and we hope to continue to provide such engaging workshops for nationalistic and youth development. For us, this is only a humble beginning, and there’s no stopping to this story.
